If you have decided to buy a dog, you should realize the responsibility of being a dog owner and must be ready to treat is as if it were your baby. It takes a great experience and patience to properly litterbox train a puppy, keep track of its health and state of mind and provide healthy and safe environment for your pet. Puppies of this breed are very fragile and should be handled with care. Therefore, these animals are not recommended for small children and should not be trusted with larger pets, if there are any in the house. These dogs are sensitive to cold and appreciate a warm sweater on a cold day.

Some so-called rescue organizations seek out pets to resell them as purebred. Beware of rescues that offer registered animals, because their dogs often come without documents or are found in the streets. Fees range from $100 to $200, but not more. If the fee is very large, you have a right to ask for proof of what was spent on the dog. Reputable rescues insist on animals being spayed or neutered to help reduce the unwanted pets overpopulation and avoid breeding pet quality dogs.
