Training A Chihuahua
When training a chihuahua, it is also important to socialize the puppies with other dogs and children, as the breeder will advise you.
These dogs are not recommended for inexperienced owners, because they can be quite stubborn, or for families with kids under six, because they are very fragile and prone to injuries. Another reason why they should not be trusted with small children is that they hate being teased and can use their sharp teeth in defending their dignity. Besides, they are no fast runners, and a bitten child may retaliate and hurt a dog very badly. These tiny creatures cannot be left around larger dogs without attendance, because their challenging behavior may evoke anger of a much stronger dog.

Training A Chihuahua -
puppies, breeder
Housebreaking is one of the most difficult things about having a puppy of this breed, and it's one of the reasons why some dogs end up at shelters and rescues. To housebreak the dog you should have a crate, a litter box, puppy pads, lots of towels and cleaner. It is recommended to place a litter box near the entrance door and take the puppy there when it begins to relieve itself. The stains are better to clean with vinegar because dogs dislike the smell and will try to avoid it. When training a chihuahua, it is also important to socialize the puppies with other dogs and children, as the breeder will advise you.
