This dog may not be the right breed for you if you don’t want to deal with extra vigilance, sensitivity to hot and cold weather and lots of attention the dog requires from the owner. They are rather difficult to housebreak and should not go outside in bad weather. These dogs should have at least basic obedience training because otherwise they often display distrust of strangers and are bold with larger dogs.
