Chihuahua Pic

If you have seen a Chihuahua Pic and now you feel so crazy about this delightful breed that no one will ever stop you from buying a Chihuahua, you should be familiar with the breed’s handling requirements and its basic physical and temperamental features. Chihuahuas are lovely and merry creatures, but despite their diminutive size, they are not for everyone. It takes a good deal of devotion and experience to bring up a decent Chihuahua.

The Chihuahua breed is believed to have appeared in the Chihuahua state of Mexico centuries ago. These dogs may bear a certain relation to the Techichi dog of ancient American tribesmen, to whom the Techichi was a sacred dog. The Techichi had a body formation similar to that of the today’s Chihuahua, but it was a little larger in size. Most probably, Chihuahuas were bred by crossing the Techichi dog with some other small dog brought along by Chinese immigrants. Today, the Chihuahua is the world’s smallest dog, and it is also the world’s cutest dog, and that you may have fallen in love with this breed after just a brief look at a Chihuahua Pic comes as no surprise!

Chihuahuas are tiny and fragile dogs, and it takes just one look at a Chihuahua Pic to see that. They require very careful handling, because they are very prone to injuries. At home, everyone must be extremely careful not to step on the dog, because even a seemingly slight trauma can turn out to be crippling. Chihuahuas are excellent companions, and they do not like it when there is no one around to play with. They are good for apartment life, but they also like to spend their time playing in the open air. Chihuahuas are sensitive to temperature falls and therefore prone to chilling, so they should not be walked on cold or rainy days.

Chihuahuas measure 6-10 inches high at the shoulder, although standards do not specify wither height. However, standards are stricter on weight, stating that the dog’s weight should not exceed 6 lbs. The British standard views the weight limit of 2-4 lbs as more preferable. There are two varieties of the breed: the smooth-coated and the long-coated. The dog’s coat comes in all possible color variations, including fawn, red, brown, black, blue, as well as parti-colors. Chihuahuas have apple-shaped heads, large erectile ears, and large and round eyes. The chest is broad and deep, and the tail is sickle-shaped and carried over the back. Chihuahuas are protective around their loved ones and are often aloof wit strangers. They are not recommended for families with children, firstly because they are too fragile to be trusted with small children and, secondly, because they do not tolerate teasing. Now we can conclude that a Chihuahua Pic alone will not give you a full idea of how to properly care for Chihuahuas, and if you have decided to purchase a dog, you will have to do a little bit of research to prepare yourself for the hardships of being a Chihuahua owner.
